In the past, members of Che Sudaka were illegal immigrants who played on the streets of Barcelona. They made their debut in 2003 with "Trippie Town" LP, released by Catalan, independent label K Industria. That album, and the whole creation process of Che Sudaka, was largely inspired by the activities of Manu Chao (with whom later had they the opportunity to collaborate). It was Manu who inspired their peaceful attitude and belief to write politically engaged lyrics aimed at the abolition of all social barriers.
Today, Che Sudaka is a world famous quartet that had already played at the biggest music festivals - with Hungarian Sziget among others. After nearly fifteen years, those Latin guys have already recorded six longplays, their discography closes with the album "Hoy" released just over a year ago. Thanks to its extraordinary determination the quartet is considered as one of the most valuable Spanish musical products. What’s more, Che Sudaka is one of the most concerting bands in the world - they already played more than 1,500 gigs in 40 countries.
